Description

  • silicone rubber tubing

Platinum-cured silicone tubing is clean-room produced for critical pharmaceutical, biomedical, cosmetic, and food applications. RFSC tubing has undergone extensive physical, chemical, and biological testing. Temperature range is -100°F to 400°F.

  • plastic tubing

FEP (fluorinated ethylene propylene) is an economical choice for applications requiring chemical resistance in combination with broad temperature exposure.

FEP offers excellent clarity which makes it ideal for sight glass/flow monitoring applications. Additionally, the outstanding UV transmission rate of FEP makes it a clear choice for UV water purification systems. FEP tubing may be used with flare or conventional fittings. FEP tubing temperature range is -100°F to 400°F.

  • Chemical resistant tubing

PFA is designed for a wide range of corrosive-resistant applications. The non-stick characteristics of fluoropolymer resin, combined with their low extractable levels and chemically inert nature makes PFA ideal for automotive, electronics, food and beverage, medical, pharmaceutical and chemical processing applications.

  • flexible tubing

PTFE tubing is the most flexible of all fluoropolymer tubing offered. PTFE tubing has the broadest temperature range of any fluoropolymer and can resist highly corrosive liquids and gases even at elevated temperatures.

  • PVDF (Kynar-Flex®) is an abrasion resistant fluoropolymer acceptable for use in applications requiring chemical resistance and low permeability. PVDF has excellent chemical resistance, is UV, ozone, and abrasion resistant. PVDF tubing has a temperature range of -20°F to 212°F.

Kynar® and Kynar-Flex® is a registered trademark of Arkema.

  • Linear Low-Density Polyethylene LLDPE tubing are used in a broad array of applications. Cable jacketing, chemical conveyance, pneumatic and air lines, beverage and food processing and potable water systems are just a few of the places LDPE and LLDPE can be used. The operating temperature for LLDPE is -100°F to 185°F.

  • TPR is made of medical grade, polypropylene based, thermoplastic rubber. This tubing combines the processability of plastics with the flexibility and durability of rubbers, while more light weight and formable. TPR tubing has a temperature range of -60°F to 270°F.
